The core release post, at /blog/activitywatch-v0-14-0/. Separate from the Tauri story in #74, which it links to.

  • Performance: Year/All-time numbers measured on a real 9-year, 9.2M-event database with each version's own dashboard queries (method: aw-server-rust#784 and the benchmark notes)
  • Reliability, web UI highlights (including the multi-device Activity view), the Tauri preview, the upgrade/migration note, what's next (multi-device), and the Pro patronage line
  • Adds blog to /go/'s src allowlist so the post's Pro link is attributable

Merge right after v0.14.0 is published, together with #74 (the post links the release page and the Tauri post). Dated 12:00 today so Jekyll doesn't treat it as a future post.

The core 'v0.14.0 is out' post: performance (measured on a real 9-year
database), reliability, web UI, the Tauri preview (links the Tauri
post), upgrade note, what's next. Allowlists src=blog in /go/ for its
Pro link.

RetriggerConfidence Score: 5/5

[Low risk] Adds a release announcement blog post.

The PR appears safe to merge under the stated release and companion-post publication plan.

What we checked:

  • Post gets the wrong URL: The dated filename supplies the intended slug, and the configured post URL uses that slug.
  • Blog attribution gets lost: Adding blog to SRC_DEFAULT also makes it a recognized source. The subscription page forwards that source to checkout, and the redirect still runs if tracking fails.

Summary

Adds the ActivityWatch v0.14.0 announcement with performance results, reliability improvements, web UI highlights, the Tauri preview, and upgrade advice.
