The Android 0.14 post said the default desktop sync daemon can't read Android's folder layout. That was fixed for desktop v0.14.0 (aw-server-rust#710: the daemon discovers 3-level Android peers; pull is opt-in via [daemon] pull = true, #716). Rewords the sentence, links the updated sync docs (ActivityWatch/docs#200) and the v0.14.0 post (#84), and adds a dated correction note.

Merge together with #84, since it links /blog/activitywatch-v0-14-0/.

[Low risk] Updates release notes about Android sync feature.

This documentation change appears safe to merge alongside #84, as ErikBjare requested.

Summary

Updates the Android release post to describe desktop v0.14.0's support for pulling Android data.

  • Adds the opt-in setting, pull = true under [daemon].
  • Links the sync documentation and desktop release post.
  • Adds a dated correction.
  • ErikBjare explicitly requires merging this alongside posts: ActivityWatch v0.14.0 release announcement #84 so the release-post link has a target.
