Computational Engineer II @ St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Programmer · Keyboard Enthusiast · Cat Dad · Coffee Connoisseur
- Building AI infrastructure that turns research intent into running pipelines: production MCP servers, agent harnesses, skill scanners, and MLOps tooling.
- Designing agentic workflows that let researchers describe an analysis in plain language and have it scheduled, run, and monitored on the cluster, with observability built in from the start.
- Operating the HPC systems behind them: 55,000+ CPU cores and 2,500+ GPUs across six clusters.
- Keeping research storage fast and organized: helped migrate 30+ PB of cryo-EM/ET imaging data, and tune parallel storage so I/O-heavy pipelines and GPU training jobs aren't left waiting on data.
- Studying for an M.S. in Computer Science at UT Austin (expected 2028).
