simpleV — Simple Value Converter

A lightweight terminal unit converter.
No dependencies, one command, works on any Linux.

Getting Started

Option 1: Install a Pre-built Package

Download the package for your distribution from the Releases page and install it.

Debian / Ubuntu / Linux Mint: sudo dpkg -i simplev_1.0-1_amd64.deb

Fedora / RHEL: sudo dnf install simplev-1.0-1.fcXX.x86_64.rpm

Arch Linux / Manjaro: sudo pacman -U simplev-1.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Option 2: Build from Source

Requirements

• g++ (GCC) with C++17 support
• make

Clone and build

git clone https://github.com/vladik50/simpleV.git

cd simpleV

make

Compile manually g++ -std=c++17 -O2 -o simplev simplev.cpp

Usage

Single-shot mode:

simplev 5 km in miles

simplev 5km in miles

simplev 12 in in cm

simplev 30 c in f

simplev 10 kg in lbs

simplev 1 l in gal

simplev 100 mph in kmh

Interactive REPL mode:

simplev
