A pad sampler and groovebox in the spirit of the Roland SP-404 and the Akai MPC,
played from the computer keyboard. The left hand drums on 1234 qwer asdf zxcv.
The right hand moves and edits with hjkl, vim style, and a : command line does
the rest. It runs as a standalone app or as a VST3 or CLAP plugin.
- 10 banks of 16 pads, with gate, one-shot and loop modes, pitch, reverse, mute groups and two effect buses.
- Chop mode: load a file once, mark cuts by hand, in time, evenly or by detected hits, and put any slice on any pad. Each chop's start and end move like a hardware sampler's, with linked edges and a zoom that follows the cursor.
- Patterns of 1 to 16 bars, a step grid of every pad, live recording, and a song built from patterns with repeats.
- Bounce the song to WAV, resample what plays, sample the input, and grab the last 25 seconds of output.
- Tempo detection, time-stretch to the project tempo, and nine effects.
