I'm a Project Engineer at Turku University of Applied Sciences, working with the Autonomous and Intelligent Systems research group, and a doctoral researcher at Åbo Akademi University.
My work sits at the intersection of embedded systems, distributed computing, edge–cloud architectures, robotics, autonomous systems, and IoT.
My doctoral research focuses on:
Resilient and Trustworthy Architectures for Edge–Cloud Distributed Real-Time Intelligent Systems
I'm particularly interested in how distributed intelligent systems can remain reliable, secure, predictable, and fault-tolerant when computation is spread across embedded devices, edge nodes, and cloud infrastructure.
My background is somewhat unconventional: before moving into engineering and computer science, I studied Public Finance, International Trade, and Finance and worked in international trade. That path has given me a multidisciplinary perspective on technology, research, and real-world systems.
