README.pod is generated from the full module POD and serves as the CPAN reference manual, so it's too long to work as a GitHub landing page. Add a separate, hand-written README.md with a short intro and quick example; GitHub renders this in preference to README.pod. Fixes #45 Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
