A keyboard-first launcher for Windows and Linux, written in Rust.
One hotkey from anywhere, a few characters, and an action: open an app, a
file, a project in Fenix, a Jira
issue, an internal URL, or a command another tool registered. Flint uses
Fenix's grammar (Vim's Insert/Normal modes and a SPC leader with
which-key) and Fenix's themes, and is built to run on a locked-down
corporate machine: no admin rights, no installer, no cloud service.
Status: M8. Flint runs in the background (flint autostart on starts
it at login), comes up on its hotkey (or flint toggle), finds and
launches apps, quicklinks, Fenix's projects and recent files and its own
commands, switches windows (w ), does sums (2 * 21) and runs shell
commands (> ), opens projects and file:line:col in the running Fenix, runs Fenix's
commands (: ), clocks in on its agenda (t ) and captures notes (n ), lists your Jira
issues and GitLab merge requests (j , mr ), with Fenix's Insert/Normal modes,
an action menu on Tab and a which-key leader on SPC, and follows
Fenix's theme. Other programs add their own items and actions as
providers.
