Task: Implement a Short URL / Redirect for the Podcast
Please configure a route/redirect on our website (theselectionlab.ai) for the Selection Lab podcast.
Requirements:
- Target Route:
/podcast(full URL:https://theselectionlab.ai/podcast). - Destination: Configure this path to redirect directly to our Apple Podcasts show:
https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/selection-lab-%E2%80%94-human-context-in-the-age-of-ai/id6819345425 - Redirect Behavior:
- Use a permanent redirect (HTTP 301 / 308) unless our framework/hosting environment prefers a 302/307 for external marketing links.
- Implement this redirect using the project's native routing configuration (e.g.,
next.config.js,astro.config.mjs,vercel.json,_redirects, or your web server config).
Execution Steps:
- Identify the framework or hosting routing layer used in this repository.
- Add the redirect rule mapping
/podcast(and optionally/podcast/) to the Apple Podcasts URL. - Test locally or verify route configuration syntax to ensure existing routes and trailing slashes behave as expected.
- Output git diff or file changes once complete.

It redirects to the Apple Podcasts show with<meta http-equiv="refresh">, alocation.replacefallback, a canonical link and a visible fallback link. Thenoindexmeta tag keeps the stub out of search results./podcastby redirecting to/podcast/, so both URLs work. Existing routes are untouched.main.Caveat: this redirect happens in the browser (HTTP 200 plus a refresh), not a 301. If you need a real 301, put Cloudflare or another proxy in front of the domain.
Change: one new file,
podcast/index.html, containing the stub described above, with the destination URLhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/selection-lab-%E2%80%94-human-context-in-the-age-of-ai/id6819345425.· branch
