Hi, I'm Mariia Steeghs-Turchina 🙋‍♀️

My background is a random walk through physics, machine learning, computer science, electrical engineering, and especially mathematics, with a focus on modeling 🤓

What I do

  • I work on computational neuroscience projects, particularly mathematical and computational modeling of EEG, at the University of Amsterdam

  • At Leiden University Medical Center and ELIXIR, I build software and infrastructure for open science, FAIR4RS, and FOSS, and work on interoperability in bioinformatics research software
