Student-built rockets, payloads, and engineering tools.
South Brunswick High School · Monmouth Junction, New Jersey
We are a student-run aerospace engineering club at South Brunswick High School. Members design rockets, develop payload electronics, write software, and use CAD and simulation to study how their designs will behave.
Our work brings mechanical design, electronics, and programming together through workshops, technical projects, and competitions. Members learn by building, testing, documenting their results, and helping one another improve.
| Project | What you'll find |

Project repositories contain the designs, code, and available documentation. Visit our project pages for additional context and project status.
- American Rocketry Challenge: National finalists in 2024, 2025, and 2026, including a 50th-place national finish in 2025.
- NASA TechRise: 2026 Student Challenge winner with an NDVI vegetation-mapping payload.
These results were earned by South Brunswick Aerospace Club, the predecessor to the school club established in fall 2026.
- SBHS students: General membership is open to all SBHS students, with no previous engineering experience required. Learn how to join. Competitive teams have a separate selection process.
- Contributors: Report a bug, improve documentation, or propose an improvement in the relevant repository. For substantial changes, open an issue first so we can discuss the approach.
