I’ve been building software for more than two decades.
I’m currently Head of Research and Development, USA at Festool, working across Festool and Shaper within the TTS Group. Previously, I led software at Shaper across embedded systems, web applications, cloud services, algorithms, DevOps, and QA.

I’ve led software delivery for Origin, Studio, Trace, ShaperHub, AutoPass, and their supporting platforms.
Along the way, I’ve built a distributed organization of 15+ engineers, product leaders, led systems supporting more than 100,000 users and 50,000 connected devices, and increased release cadence 5x for web applications and 3x for embedded products.
I’m particularly interested in tools for people who make things and in the boundary between digital systems and physical craft.
