Philly's tech community, by us, for us. We center Black, Brown, LGBTQIA+, and underrepresented technologists, and the door is open to anyone who's curious, whether you've been shipping code for years or you're opening a text editor for the first time tonight.
Curiosity over credentials. At our labs you build something real in one evening, next to people who are figuring it out with you, and the code stays here in the open so you can take it home and keep going.

If this is your first time contributing to anything, read the Community Handbook to see how we work, then look for an issue labeled good first issue. Every repo has a CONTRIBUTING.md that walks you through your first pull request. Stuck? Ask in Discord. Nobody here expects you to know everything already.
PATCH is our build night: one theme, one evening, hands-on the whole time. When a lab produces code, it lands here with the patch-series topic, so you can pick up where the room left off.
| Lab | What you build | Code |
|---|---|---|
| PATCH 001: Make sound visible | Visuals that react to live music | djVisualizer · try it |
| PATCH 002: NFC Lab | Your own custom NFC tag | No code repo. This one was hands-on hardware. |
| PATCH 003: Projection Mapping Lab | A p5.js sketch you warp onto any wall or object | projectionMapper · try it |

For the community: website is our public site, and anyone can help build it. community-handbook is where our values and governance live, written in the open.
Creative tech: locked-groove is an early-stage engine for internet radio that never stops, where every listener hears the same second of the set and the visuals render live in their browser.
Tools we use at events: door-checkin is a doorbell for locked venue doors, so a guest who taps the NFC tag outside knows someone is on the way down. discord-task-bot handles our task reminders in Discord, and owlhacks-timer is the demo countdown we built live at OwlHacks '26.
Experiments: shoppingDebateChromeExtension has three AI personalities argue about your cart before you check out.
