I'm Emanuel, a software developer from Baden, Switzerland 🇨🇭, currently working at etrex GmbH.
lazy-koins turns exports from crypto exchanges and wallets into the Swiss tax documents for one year: wealth on 31 December and income, as PDF and Excel. It reads any platform through declarative mappings (or lets an AI write them), fetches historical prices, checks that ledgers and statements add up, and lists every transaction with how it counts for tax. Runs as a web app (lazy-koins.hello-eme.ch) and as a desktop app for macOS and Windows where the data never leaves your machine. A hobby project, not tax advice.
Built with Angular, NestJS, SQLite/Prisma, Electron and Nx.
A few small tools that grew out of my day-to-day work:
- docker-ionic-build-android: build Android APKs with Ionic and Capacitor inside Docker
- replicate-host-psql-db-to-docker: copy a remote PostgreSQL database into a local Docker container
For the REDAXO CMS I built redaxo-addon-env-middleware: manage environments, expose environment variables to the frontend and proxy API calls with server-side OAuth, so credentials never reach the browser.
I'm also building vscode-json-tools, a VS Code extension to jump to nested JSON paths, browse a JSON outline and find where config keys are used in your code.
