There is nothing else to install.
Your current bar layout is copied over the first time Rack loads, so nothing jumps around: you start from the bars you already had.
- Type
/rackor click the minimap button. The settings window opens. /rack moveto drag the bars where you want them. They snap to the screen and to each other, or you can type exact coordinates./rack bindto set your keys: point at a button and press the key. Escape clears it.- Close the window. Everything is saved as you make it.
Ten action bars plus the pet bar and the stance bar - all 120 slots, including the stealth and form pages the game hides.
Every bar is laid out on its own: how many buttons, how many rows, the size, the spacing, the scale, the opacity and the direction it grows.
Drag a bar anywhere, with snapping to the screen and to the other bars, or type exact coordinates if you already know where you want it.
Hover binding: point at a button, press a key, done. Escape clears the binding. It works in any keyboard layout.
Written as macro conditions, so bars switch and hide correctly in combat - which is the only way the game allows it.
Portals, call pet, seals and the rest, with the arrow and the popup column.
Bags, the micro menu, totems, the XP and reputation bars, the vehicle exit button and the gryphons become Rack bars too: move them, scale them or hide them.
Cooldown text, charges, the activation glow, range and mana colouring, the equipped border and the new-spell mark.
A flat skin, the game's own gilded art, or Masque if you have it. One font for every label, picked from the fonts you have installed.
Shared between your characters, with three ready-made presets, and exported as one line of text you can paste to a friend.

Rack never checks a version number - it checks whether each button exists, so anything your client does not have simply does not show up.
Version 1.0.0.
/rack open the settings window (/rk does the same)
/rack move drag the bars; "unlock" is the same thing
/rack bind hover binding: point at a button, press a key
When something looks wrong, Rack can describe its own state. Run the command that matches and paste the output into the issue - it answers more than a screenshot does:
/rack bars where the bars are, how many buttons, which page
/rack frames which of the game's frames Rack took over
/rack bags why the backpack is not opening everything
/rack flyouts which step of a flyout failed
/rack look what a button is made of
/rack find ... where a spell or a macro sits
Run the command above that matches what went wrong, copy the output and paste it into an issue. The issue template asks for the right one, so you do not have to guess.
Masque and LibSharedMedia-3.0 are supported if you have them; neither is bundled. Secure-handler techniques were learned from Bartender4 and LibActionButton-1.0.
Rack is free to use and free to download, but it is not open source: redistribution, forks and re-uploads are not allowed. The full terms are in LICENSE; if you want to do something they forbid, open an issue and ask.
