Summary
APPROVE — clean, dev-only transitive dependency bump of vite 7.3.2 → 7.3.7 in the root package-lock.json; all 5 CI checks pass.
Verified:
- Transitive-only, lock-only change is correct. Root
package.jsonhas no directvitedependency; vite is pulled in byvitest/vite-node/@vitest/mocker, which all accept^5.0.0 || ^6.0.0 || ^7.0.0-0. 7.3.7 satisfies this, so Dependabot correctly updated only the lock file with nopackage.jsonchange. - web/ frontend is unaffected. The app bundler vite (
^8.1.5) lives in a separateweb/package-lock.jsonand is untouched. - esbuild constraint widening is a no-op here (pre-existing, not a regression). vite's declared range widened from
^0.27.0to^0.27.0 || ^0.28.0, but the repo's rootoverrides: { "esbuild": "^0.25.0" }keeps the resolved esbuild at 0.25.12 regardless. This same declared-vs-resolved gap existed before (7.3.2 declared^0.27.0, also resolved 0.25.12); npm honorsoverrides, which is whynpm ci/Docker/lint-and-test all pass. Not introduced or worsened by this PR, so out of scope.
No blocking or should-fix issues.
