Looks good, but can you add a CHANGELOG and change the commit message to "daemon: Don't log ...."
Doing it this way helps the release process go more quickly for me

libwebauthnsends this for every transport, for example here. So we can't error log on it. But we already hint about this in the UI and the authenticator will generally do something too, so we don't need to handle it either.
