Summary

The plugin half of a session-title survey across all providers (lich side: lichdotdev/lich#900). No contract change: the /session-title body is the same, only where the title is read from.

  • Codex: 0.147.0 and later write rollouts in paginated mode, with no user_message event, so a Codex card kept the name lich gave it. report-title.sh now also reads the first item_completed event whose item is a UserMessage, its first text content (measured on 0.162.1). The old extractor stays first, for older Codex.
  • oh-my-pi: omp heads a generated title with a card, <icon> <CODE>: <title> (title.icons, on by default; measured on 18.8.9), and the lich card showed a Nerd Font glyph and the code. omp/lich.js strips it with the same pattern and icon test as omp's own splitCardTitle, so a plain Fix: the parser stays whole.

Test plan

  • node --test tests/*.test.mjs (467 pass), with new cases for a paginated Codex rollout (title, blank, missing, character cap) and for omp cards (Nerd Font, emoji, plain title shaped like one, ASCII word before the code)
  • The new Codex extractor run against a real 0.162.1 rollout on disk

Codex 0.147.0 and later write no user_message event into the rollout; the
first user message is read from the completed UserMessage item instead
(measured on 0.162.1). omp heads a generated title with an icon and a code
(title.icons, on by default; measured on 18.8.9), which is now stripped the
way omp's own splitCardTitle matches it.
