Why
Oracle developers need one canonical reference for the proposed Workers research and Portal workspace APIs, with clear activation and acceptance requirements.
What changed
Add a Workers reference and a two-person Topic research acceptance guide. Document signed owner routes, frozen inputs, exact VFS versions, skill/credential activation, recovery, current authorization and independent review.
Add navigation and short pointers from the existing Node endpoint, tasks and sandbox references. Preserve the separate public/internal documentation surfaces.
Scope
Seven documentation and navigation files. API anchors identify the pushed integrated histories from Workers PR 340 and PR 341.
The Portal integration is in PR 1880, with its protocol pin in PR 1879.
Blast Radius
Research is inactive by default and requires an operator canonical Topic resolver plus trusted pinned skills. The persistent principal sandbox is not execution/network isolation.
Composio execution restrictions, accepted private-delivery retries and broader open Node/recurring/wake/provider scope are explicit. No package publication, deployment or live-service readiness is claimed.
Verification
Docs QA and style passed. Touched ESLint, existing markdownlint rules, terminology, 11 internal links, navigation/JSON and diff checks passed.
Final source-anchor substitution was verified against origin refs. Existing whole-site broken links remain in five unrelated files; no new touched-link failure.
Release still requires real workerd, UCAN, Matrix, registry, sandbox and VFS acceptance with two separately authorized identities.
