Ianhub is an independent software business operated by Kader Bouyakoub (bkader), focused on building practical, modular, and developer-oriented software.
The Ianhub ecosystem is primarily built around PHP and web applications, with a focus on simplicity, performance, maintainability, and giving developers control over their applications and infrastructure.
Ianhub is also home to various applications, libraries, tools, themes, plugins, and other projects developed under the Ianhub brand.
CiSkeleton (CSK) is the main application framework developed and maintained by Ianhub.
Built on CodeIgniter 3, CSK has evolved from a private framework used to build Ianhub and client applications into a broader modular ecosystem for building PHP web applications.
Its architecture provides a foundation for:
- Modular applications and extensions.
- Themes and layouts.
- User authentication and access levels.
- Multilingual applications.
- Administration interfaces.
- JSON-RPC and API functionality.
- Entities and reusable application components.
- Storage and caching.
- Media management.
- Package installation and management.
CSK is currently private and in the process of becoming source-available.
The transition is being done gradually. Historically, Ianhub handled CSK updates, package information, licensing, and distribution through its own website and server infrastructure. This system is currently being redesigned so that GitHub becomes the primary source for CSK code, packages, releases, and distribution.
Once that transition is complete, CSK and more of its ecosystem will be published as source-available software.
For many years, CSK was developed as a private framework for Ianhub projects and selected client work.
We are now gradually opening the ecosystem to the public.
This does not mean that everything becomes public at once. Existing components and projects are being reviewed, reorganized, documented, and migrated individually.
The goal is to establish a proper public ecosystem around CSK while retaining a clear distinction between:
- CiSkeleton — the framework and its public ecosystem.
- Ianhub — the software brand and organization developing and maintaining it.
- Ianhub applications and services — products and projects built using CSK.
The official CSK repositories are maintained under the ciskeleton organization.

Packages
The CSK ecosystem includes packages such as:
- Modules — extend applications with additional functionality.

- Languages — provide translations for CSK and its ecosystem.
Additional package types may be introduced as the ecosystem evolves.
Ianhub also maintains projects that are not part of the CSK core ecosystem, including applications, tools, libraries, and World of Warcraft addons.
Some projects may remain private when they contain client-specific work, unreleased products, or other material that is not intended for public distribution.

Kader Bouyakoub (bkader) is the founder and developer behind Ianhub and the creator of CiSkeleton.
With more than 20 years of programming experience, his work spans PHP web development, application frameworks, libraries, tools, themes, plugins, and World of Warcraft addons.
He originally trained in medicine before moving into software development and eventually establishing Ianhub as his independent software business.

Ianhub is currently focused on expanding and reorganizing the CSK ecosystem.
The current priorities include:
- Completing the migration of CSK repositories to the
ciskeletonorganization. - Moving package distribution and releases to GitHub.
- Reworking the CSK update system to use GitHub releases instead of the Ianhub website/server as the primary distribution mechanism.
- Publishing more CSK components as they are prepared.
- Improving documentation and developer tooling.
- Continuing development of applications and services built on CSK.
The long-term goal is a public, maintainable, and self-contained CSK ecosystem, while Ianhub continues to develop products and services around it.
