The block-sharing inflation path decoded blocks itself and so never compared a block's invalidation stamp against the context, leaving a reader on a stale core table after a remap. The check now lives in updateCheckpointMaybe, a sync hook that returns the reload only when needed, and every caller runs it on the shared decoded block.
