check now warns when a script reads MX_PARAM_<NAME> for an undeclared parameter, reads MX_OUTPUT_<TASK> without a capturing dependency (naming the reason and the closest match), or when a sources pattern matches no file. All three are silent at run time: the variable is empty and a task with unmatched sources is skipped as up to date for good.
