The log10/epsilon digit extractor moved valid large amounts such as 9,999,999.99 into the first-digit 1 / first-two-digit 10 buckets instead of 9 / 99.
Extract significant digits from the locale-independent shortest round-trip numeric text, without nudging values across a boundary. Exclude zero/nonfinite values and test large cent amounts, adjacent floats, powers of ten and statistical bucket reconciliation.
Validation: 265 relevant tests and full-project lint passed. An in-memory comparison of the standard 30,163-row demonstration produced identical old/new buckets; archived demonstration outputs were not rewritten.
