Current metrics can still be read from the frozen July summary: its ideal SNR is 95.639 dB while the October snapshot reports 98.079781 dB. This change adds an explicit current registry and a fail-closed reader; legacy paths, unsupported scopes, snapshot/provenance/source drift fail instead of falling back.
The registry publishes only the committed physical-CDAC ideal controls and main matrix. It freezes 410 historical files, including delivery/archive mirrors, CSV/NPZ evidence and report tables. The three active report generators now require explicit historical reproduction into a new empty output directory and label every generated table. No frozen metric, report, package or numerical source was rewritten.
Validation: 35 evidence/coherent-metric tests passed; repository consistency and all 410 hashes passed; a checkout with core.autocrlf=true also passed. CI adds a fast evidence job with an independent comparison against f180d8a, so changing historical bytes and their registry digests together cannot pass. The audit lists every entry family, all 13 changed files and acceptance criteria in docs/METRIC_ENTRYPOINT_AUDIT_20261005.md.
Remaining boundaries: numerical producer defaults still require an explicit fresh --outdir; unpublished full-campaign/sigma/amplitude/ablation scopes are refused; required branch checks are not configured. Existing artifacts and their expiration remain recorded without promoting partial evidence.
Remote validation passed: the PR's evidence guard, complete 512-chip behavioral campaign, physical-CDAC revalidation (512 main chips plus mismatch/amplitude sweeps), and RTL lint are all green.
