Summary

  • Adds an Extract as file action for saved (live) clips, converting the clip in place into a standalone sub-video via the existing POST /assets/{clip_id}/promote endpoint. No backend change.
  • Available on each live-clip row in the Clip tab, and on a clip's own detail page (Info tab).
  • Previously the only UI path to promote a clip was the parent-delete guard.

Tests

  • New ClipEditor.test.tsx: the button shows on a live clip but not an extracted one, and calls clipsApi.promote with the clip's own id.
  • Frontend: npm test (301 passed) and npm run build pass. Backend suite not run, as nothing there changed.
  • Not done: an AssetDetail test for the detail-page button, and a manual run against real ffmpeg.
