- drop the unused top-level mocha 10; @vscode/test-cli ships mocha 11 - upgrade typescript-eslint 5 -> 8 (no longer depends on braces) and eslint to 8.57.1; @typescript-eslint/semi was removed in v8, so the core semi rule takes its place - override diff to ^8.0.3 (mocha 11 pins ^7) and raise the brace-expansion override to ^5.0.12 - npm audit fix for js-yaml None of these packages ship in the vsix; the extension has no runtime dependencies. Resolves all 7 open Dependabot alerts. They are all in dev dependencies (lint and test tooling). The extension has no runtime dependencies and
