Senior Technical Product Manager | AI & Data Products | UC Berkeley MIDS
I'm a product leader who spends most of my time thinking about how AI systems make decisions that affect people's safety and how to build tools that keep them honest. 15+ years across product, data science, and engineering got me here, by way of a Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) from UC Berkeley and an earlier life in industrial markets (water, utilities, energy, manufacturing) with a bachelor's in Chemical Engineering.
Outside of my day job, I care a lot about the built environment — the
buildings we live and work in, and whether the systems meant to keep them
safe are actually working. That's the thread running through
housing-agent-eval,
where I'm testing whether multi-agent AI systems genuinely outperform
simpler ones on housing-safety analysis (spoiler: it's not as obvious as
the hype suggests), and BobBuilderGPT
(CodeQuery), an AI assistant for navigating building codes that I built
with a great team at a UC Berkeley hackathon.
If you're working on anything at the intersection of AI, safety, and the places people live — I'd love to hear about it.
