Every engineer carries context nobody wrote down. MindSync turns a person's own GitHub history and AI coding sessions into a mind their teammates can question — from the web or from inside Claude Code. It answers in their voice with citations, or says "I don't know" and routes the question to the real person.

What's interesting about it

• Hybrid retrieval — BM25 + 1536-dim vectors fused with reciprocal rank fusion over Azure AI Search, then re-weighted by source trust × freshness × relevance.
• It refuses. An empirically measured relevance gate means a thin-evidence question gets a decline and an escalation to the real person, not a fabrication. Every ask is logged with its evidence score so the threshold is tuned from data.
• Privacy is a test, not a promise. Session capture splits your turns from the assistant's on your machine — guarded by an allowlist test that plants markers in assistant text, tool output, subagent prompts, and compaction summaries and asserts zero survive.
• Consent by construction. Nothing enters a person's mind unapproved, and nobody approves material into someone else's.
