Closes #131

Problem

Users who haven't verified their email hit a dead end: login returns "Please verify your email", but the page has no way to request a new link, although /api/resend-verification already exists.

Changes

  • public/login.html: when login fails because the email isn't verified, an inline box lets the user enter their email and request a new link. The post-registration "Check your email" screen also gets a "Didn't get the email? Resend" link. The button is locked for 5 minutes after a request, matching the server's per-account cooldown, so the UI never claims to send something the server will ignore.
  • src/worker.py: the unverified-login 403 now includes "code": "email_not_verified" so the page doesn't match on message text, and /api/resend-verification gets the same per-IP rate limit as login and register.

Behavior

The resend endpoint still returns the same generic message whether or not an account exists, so it doesn't reveal which emails are registered. The login 403 is only returned after the password is verified.

Testing

Registered an unverified account, confirmed the resend link on the success screen, and confirmed the resend box appears on an unverified login but not on a wrong password. Checked the cooldown and the rate limit (429 after 5 requests a minute).
