As of 2026, I no longer see value in open source. Contributions have dried up, and the repositories gaining traction are primarily legacy projects, vanity projects, AI wrappers, or celebrity repos. I want no part of it.
- SnapDock and Glint remain active and will continue to receive updates.
- No new public projects will be posted.
The original value of open source was building in the open to collaborate, get help, and share knowledge, while the star system served as a meaningful way to recognize helpful repositories. Today, automated scrapers harvest everything with zero feedback loop. I could build an absolute masterpiece of an application, and tomorrow a "vibe coder" could replicate it entirely via AI without a shred of recognition or attribution.
I have been developing software for 20 years and have no intent to stop.
- Games & Indie Projects: Check itch.io for any released works.
- Applications: Available via the Snap Store and the Windows Store where appropriate.
