Where am I from? - Ukraine
Back when I was just getting started, I tried my hand at game development in Roblox Studio — dropped it pretty fast because it just didn't click for me. Then I moved into Python for a while, learned the basics, wrote a couple of simple projects. After that I switched to HTML + CSS and actually dug into it — not generic landing pages with generic ideas, but interactive stuff, including small web games in JS. From there I picked up React, then backend basics with Express, Node.js and MongoDB, and eventually got into TypeScript, which I now use on both ends. That's where I'm at right now.
I'm studying in this field these days, hoping to turn it from a hobby into an actual job.
First and foremost, I know how to code both backend and frontend, though frontend is my main strength. I've already built working full-stack apps and understand how the pieces interact.
Skills I have, and ones I'm still working on:
- Basic webdev: HTML, CSS, JS (yep, pretty average)
- Frontend: React + TypeScript
- Backend: Node.js, Express
- DB: MongoDB
Still figuring things out, trying new stuff, and updating this when there's something worth showing.
