Dayflow is a human resource management system that helps employees and HR teams handle everyday workplace tasks from one role-based dashboard.
Employees can manage their own profile, mark attendance, apply for leave, and view payroll details. HR/Admin users can manage employee records, review attendance, approve or reject leave requests, update payroll information, and track workforce analytics.
Dayflow starts with secure username and password authentication. After signing in, each user is sent to the correct workspace based on their role.
Employees use the employee portal for self-service tasks. Their actions, such as attendance updates and leave applications, are saved in the database and become visible to HR.
HR/Admin users use the HR workspace to manage the organization. They can create employee accounts, maintain employee details, review attendance records, handle leave approvals, update salary information, and view dashboard analytics.
The system keeps employee, attendance, leave, payroll, and verification data in MongoDB. API routes validate requests, enforce role-based access, and connect the frontend screens to stored records.
