Rayos is an open-source smart wallet system built on the Stellar blockchain — designed so that anyone, technical or not, can own and control their digital assets without ever writing down a secret phrase.
Traditional crypto wallets make you write down a "seed phrase" — a string of 12–24 random words that, if lost or stolen, means losing everything forever. Rayos eliminates this entirely.
Instead, your wallet is secured by the same technology that unlocks your phone:
- 🍎 Face ID (iPhone / Mac)
- 👆 Touch ID (fingerprint)
- 🪟 Windows Hello (face or PIN)
These are called passkeys — a modern, phishing-resistant standard already trusted by Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Rayos brings that same level of security to blockchain.
You tap "Send"
→ Your device asks for Face ID / fingerprint
→ Your phone signs the transaction locally (your key never leaves your device)
→ The transaction is submitted on-chain via Stellar
→ Done. No passwords. No seed phrases. No browser extensions.
Beyond basic sending and receiving, Rayos supports:
