Walkthrough
This change adds Nikshay phase-status persistence, synchronization with a remote API, beneficiary reports, and endpoints to retrieve and update synchronization status.
Changes: Nikshay sync status
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Status models and repository queries src/main/java/com/iemr/mmu/data/nikshay/*, src/main/java/com/iemr/mmu/repo/nikshay/*, src/main/java/com/iemr/mmu/service/nikshay/NikshaySyncStatusService.java
Adds beneficiary and synchronization status entities, report DTOs and projections, service contracts, and repository queries for status rows and beneficiary data.
Fetches failed phases using authorization headers, parses phase details and timestamps, then deletes locally updated rows older than one month and inserts or refreshes failed-phase rows.
Adds paginated missing-beneficiary results with optional filters and reports failed beneficiaries with names and failed-phase details.
Controller endpoints and status updates src/main/java/com/iemr/mmu/controller/nikshay/NikshaySyncStatusController.java, src/main/java/com/iemr/mmu/service/nikshay/impl/NikshaySyncStatusServiceImpl.java
Adds endpoints for synchronization, beneficiary reports, and sync-status updates, with request validation and HTTP error responses.

Use the entity ID type in BeneficiaryRepo, or remove the unused additions.
BeneficiaryRepo exposes Long for ID-based operations, while Beneficiarydetail.beneficiaryDetailsId is a BigInteger. The inspected Java code has no caller that currently reaches those operations. If the repository is retained, align its ID type with the entity:

Replace the per-phase lookup with bounded batched lookups.
The failedBeneficiaries response is not paged. The current loop therefore runs findByBenRegIDAndPhase once for every remote FAILED phase inside one transaction. Load existing rows with findByBenRegIDIn in database-safe chunks, then index them by beneficiary ID and phase. Keep the existing per-entry loop so duplicate remote phases retain the current processing behavior.

Replace the per-entry findByBenRegIDAndPhase lookup in the failed-beneficiary
processing method with bounded batch retrieval of existing rows, using a
repository bulk query and a database-safe chunk size. Index retrieved rows by
beneficiary ID and phase, then keep the existing per-entry loop and lookup
behavior so duplicate remote phases are processed as before.

The callee method not using pagination to handle the internal api calls, so pagination has not been used as the userbase of sync is not that large per day.
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
@PankajUnthin Understood. The suggestion concerns batching local database lookups, not adding pagination to the internal API. The current loop performs one findByBenRegIDAndPhase lookup for each failed phase.
Given the small sync volume you described, this can remain an optional performance optimization. No API pagination change is needed for this finding.

Reconcile local rows with the complete failure snapshot.
When a previously failed phase succeeds, the failedBeneficiaries snapshot omits that phase. syncFailedPhaseStatuses only upserts returned phases, so the old local row remains unless it happens to satisfy the unrelated one-month purge. Because findMissingBeneficiaries reports every beneficiary with any local sync-status row, that beneficiary can continue to appear as missing.
Reconcile the local (benRegID, phase) rows with the successful response, and remove rows absent from the snapshot. Treat an empty successful snapshot as zero current failures.

@PankajUnthin Understood. If the bad input stays unchanged, each retry will produce the same failure. Keeping that failure record is expected.
My concern applies only after someone corrects the input and the phase succeeds. Should the local record remain until someone explicitly marks it isUpdated, followed by the one-month cleanup?
If that is the intended lifecycle, removing records just because they disappear from failedBeneficiaries would be inappropriate. My original recommendation assumed that the local table must contain only current failures.
