Release verification could suspend with
Stopped (tty input)when provider-discovery tests launched the owner's real login or interactive shell profiles on the release terminal. Isolate runtime discovery probes in separate process sessions with piped I/O, bounded output and timeouts, and require observed successful exit before accepting a discovered path.Mock discovery subprocesses in tests, preserve interactive-shell discovery coverage, and document terminal custody in the release guide and AGENTS.md.
Validation: all 1,799 tests across 231 files pass;
npm run typecheckandgit diff --checkpass. An isolated pseudo-terminal probe confirmed separate process sessions block access to the caller's controlling terminal. No release version or tag was created during verification.
