Mathematics | Statistics | Data Analytics & Data Science
I'm a Mathematics undergraduate concentrating in Data Science at Austin Peay State University, graduating in December 2026. I enjoy applying mathematics, statistical reasoning, and programming to understand data, evaluate relationships, and build predictive models.
My primary interests are financial analytics, statistical modeling, and data-driven decision-making. I'm particularly interested in using quantitative methods to study financial risk, lending behavior, and economic outcomes.
- Programming & analysis: Python, R, SQL, SAS
- Statistical methods: Regression analysis, exploratory data analysis, statistical inference, predictive modeling
- Data science: Machine learning, data cleaning, feature analysis, data visualization
- Tools: pandas, scikit-learn, Power BI, Git, GitHub
- Wage Regression Analysis — Exploring relationships between wages and explanatory variables using regression.
- Aircraft Crash Analysis — Exploratory analysis and visualization of aviation safety data.
- Sentiment Analysis — Applying natural language processing and classification to text data.
My senior seminar research examines mortgage prepayment behavior using Freddie Mac loan-level data, with a focus on time-to-event analysis and factors associated with early loan payoff.
