Trials previously retained execution material without first-class derivation or comparison ancestry. This adds immutable experiment intent and exact parent/baseline references across Studies, plus a production Pipeline graph linking recipe edits, saved outcomes and existing exact checkpoint comparisons.
Branch from Trial copies its retained recipe snapshot, then uses the normal editor and material capture. Preparation remains inert; explicit finite admission remains with Studies/Runs. Historical Trial bytes and all 101 existing operation contracts stay unchanged. Schema10 is an explicit additive quiesced migration; schema1–9 DDL/hashes and backup/restore are preserved. See docs/contracts/experiment-lineage.md.
Validation:
All 143 affected local regressions passed. All four workflows passed on final head
ee07e415: full lifecycle, captured CPU package/fresh inference, workspace UI, and extension catalog. Independent exact-head review is clear; all 101 pre-existing contracts and schema1–9 definitions remain unchanged. Tiny authored CC0 fixtures qualify the workflow only; no production scientific acceptance or accelerator qualification is claimed.
