Charles Lindecker, software architect in Mulhouse, France. “First, I master the rules of the game. Then, I reinvent them.” A night over Yharnam: a pale moon, gothic spires and a constellation lighting up.

The hunter: Charles Lindecker, software architect at B-Hive in Mulhouse, lead of the French team of PvZ Fusion. Coding since the age of 13.

The three rules. Master: understand what works before making my own decisions (the web developer programme completed in one month). Reinvent: when the usual solution hits its limit, try something else (my paper card game turned into an online game refereed by my own rules engine). Lead: share what I have understood so that others can move forward (20 people trained in the French team of PvZ Fusion).

The sky of projects, in four constellations. Lead & team: PvZ Fusion. Video games: Omnicard, Bloodborne Legendary Run, League Of Data Base. Tools: gup, GitHealth. AI: Karl Scraper, Sillage, Relais.

Bloodborne Legendary Run: a web and Android app to follow a Bloodborne playthrough, where every goal becomes a star. 1,289 goals, 22 constellations, 864 guide entries in French (counted on 8 October 2026). Real screenshots of the app.

Lighting a star in Bloodborne Legendary Run: four real recordings of the app. A boss defeated (“Prey slaughtered”, the Cleric Beast), a place discovered (Central Yharnam revealed in ink), a rune obtained (the Caryll rune Clockwise Metamorphosis being engraved), a gem found (a red radial blood gem taking shape).

Lead & team

PvZ Fusion, French team — A team trained and led. Translate a game. Grow a team. PvZ Fusion never stops changing: fifteen versions in fourteen months. When I joined, the French translation was several versions behind. Ten months later, with the team I recruited and trained, not a single entry was missing. 20 people trained in the French team ; 1,335 → 0 missing entries ; 35 pull requests merged into the official project.

Video games

Omnicard (Video games) — Reinvent. The card game I invented on paper with my cousin, turned into an online game with its own rules engine. 181 cards in the public catalogue. Co-author of the paper game; solo on the online game. Offline, awaiting a rewrite.

Rules — Omnicard

League Of Data Base (Video games) — A system in production. Find the exact values of an old League of Legends patch, in your own language. 403 patches, in 21 languages. Designed and maintained alone. Live.

gup (Tools) — An open-source tool. Update everything installed on a developer machine with a single command. 153 sources, on Windows, macOS and Linux. Author and maintainer. Open source, on npm.

Code — gup  npm — gup  Website — gup

Code — GitHealth

AI

Karl Scraper (AI) — Automating tasks. Keep a local copy of my tasks, let AI agents read it, and automate a ticket’s path all the way to its pull request. 18 actions and 14 triggers. Designed and built alone. Personal tool, running on my machine. Private repository.

Sillage (AI) — Orchestrating AI agents. Hand a long development job to several AI agents without losing control, and resume it after an interruption. 579 agents launched over nine real runs. Designed and built alone. Personal tool, in use on my machine. Private repository.

Relais (AI) — Supervising AI agents. A single local entry point to the agents on my machine: it isolates their accounts, decides their permissions and keeps their conversations. 1,011 permission decisions in three days. Designed and built alone. Personal tool, in use on my machine. Private repository.

Figures as of 13 October 2026; GitHealth, Karl Scraper and Sillage as of 14 October; Relais as of 23 September.
