The Inferit logo files, colours and type, for anyone who writes about Inferit or builds with it.
Status: Inferit is a testnet demo on Whitechain Sepolia. Prices settle in Inferit Test Credit (ITC), a test token with no monetary value. The contracts are not audited.
Inferit is a peer-to-peer market for AI inference: anyone can sell inference at their own price, and agents pay per request. Use these files to refer to Inferit, unmodified (terms).

Every request to Inferit carries its own tiny payment, like a letter carries a stamp. The mark is a stamp whose face is its price: 1µ, one micro-dollar, Inferit's price unit. A Steel sibling stamp sits behind it: one offer taken from a sheet of many, which is the market.
| Part | What it is |
|---|---|
| Front stamp | A Carbon #141414 stamp, 4 × 5, with round bites on its edges and a quarter-bite at each corner |
| Face | 1µ: the 1 in Bone, the µ in International Orange |
| Sibling | The same stamp in Steel #6B6D71, behind and up-left of the front stamp. Only its top and left edges show |
| Wordmark | inferit, lowercase, with square i-dots. It is always the outlined file, never typed in a font |
Every file is generated from one geometry, so the shapes match at every size. Use the files as they are.
"Reverse" files are for dark grounds. Every file is named inferit-…, so it still makes sense in a downloads folder.
Folders: logo/svg/ (vectors, transparent), logo/png/transparent/, logo/png/on-bone/ (on Bone #ECEAE4), logo/png/on-carbon/ (on Carbon #141414) and logo/icons/. The square on-ground marks fill 60% of the canvas height, so the whole mark survives a circular crop.
<link rel="icon" href="/favicon.ico" sizes="48x48">
<link rel="icon" href="/favicon.svg" type="image/svg+xml">
<link rel="apple-touch-icon" href="/apple-touch-icon.png">- P is the front stamp's width ÷ 4, or the full mark's height ÷ 6. In a lockup, measure P on the mark in that lockup.
- Leave 1 P clear on every side of the mark. No text, edges, rules, other logos or crop lines inside it.
- The files already include ½ P of clear space, so leave at least another ½ P around a placed file.
- ½ P is the absolute minimum, for tight UI only: nav bars, tabs and favicons.
- The spacing inside a lockup is fixed: 1 P from mark to word in the horizontal lockup, 1.5 P from the stamp's foot to the word in the stacked one.
The silhouette stays the same as the mark gets smaller; details drop out instead. Each small master is drawn for one size: render it at exactly that size, and never scale the large mark down to fit a small slot.

Two surfaces carry no meaning: raised light #FFFFFF and raised dark #1C1D1F.
One orange element. In an image, a slide or a figure, at least 98% of the view is neutral. Orange is exactly one element, at most about 2% of the area, and it always marks the unit being paid or the chosen offer. Orange is never a background, the wordmark, body text, a link, an error or status colour, or decoration, and never in two places at once.
The logo's µ counts. If your image already has its own orange element (an amount due, a picked price), sign it with the one-ink lockup: inferit-lockup-mono.svg or inferit-lockup-mono-reverse.svg. Orange then appears once.
Contrast (WCAG 2; AA needs 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and glyphs):
| Pair | Ratio | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Carbon on Paper / on Bone | 17.04 / 15.31 | Everything |
| Graphite on Paper / on Bone | 13.81 / 12.41 | Everything |
| Bone on Carbon | 15.31 | Everything |
| Aluminium on Carbon | 10.75 | Secondary text on dark |
| Steel on Paper | 4.79 | Body text on Paper; on other grounds Steel is for labels and rules |
| Orange on Carbon | 5.59 | Figures, glyphs, the µ |
| Orange on Paper / on Bone | 3.05 / 2.74 | Large figures and the µ glyph only, never small text |
Not in the palette, so never used: purple or violet, neon cyan, teal or blue, gradients, glows, holographic or iridescent finishes, crypto gold.
| Role | Face |
|---|---|
| Headlines | Geist SemiBold (600), tracking −2% to −3%; Geist Medium (500) for long headlines |
| Body | Geist Regular (400) |
| UI (buttons, nav, tabs) | Geist Medium (500) |
| Prices, amounts, hashes, addresses, counts | Geist Mono 400 or 500, tabular figures |
| Labels | Geist Mono 400, uppercase, tracking +8%, in Steel |
Geist and Geist Mono are by Vercel, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1: github.com/vercel/geist-font, or the npm package geist. Use sentence case. A headline that is a sentence ends with a full stop; a label never does. The wordmark is always the logo file, never Geist typed live.
Inferit prices are in µ, micro-dollars (a millionth of a dollar each). On the testnet the unit is a micro-ITC, a test token with no monetary value.
- Write the number, a thin space (U+2009), then the micro sign (U+00B5):
240 µ,9 760 µ,0.60 µ/token(which is $0.60 per 1M tokens). The thin space also groups thousands. These are format examples, not live prices. - Never the Greek mu (U+03BC), which looks the same but is a different character. Don't NFKC-normalise price strings, because NFKC turns the micro sign into it.
- Where only ASCII is allowed (headers, logs, file names):
240 uUSD. - Set prices in Geist Mono with tabular figures.
- Inferit in prose: a capital I and the rest lowercase, never all capitals. The lowercase
inferitis the logo's alone. - Inferit Market in formal documents.
- x402 with a lowercase x; Whitechain Sepolia for the network Inferit runs on today.
- Name Inferit to refer to it. Don't suggest that Inferit endorses, sponsors or partners with you.
- Don't redraw, retype, re-kern or re-space the wordmark, and don't type
inferitin a font as a logo. - Don't recolour any part. The
1is never orange, the stamp is never orange, and the µ is only ever orange (or knocked out in the one-ink files). - Don't change the face. It is always
1µ: no other numeral, unit or price, and never the Greek mu. - Don't add effects: gradients, glows, drop shadows, bevels, 3D, emboss, holographic finishes or gold foil.
- Don't square the bites or round the corners, and don't add a keyline, a frame or crop marks.
- Don't rotate, skew, stretch, mirror or outline the mark.
- Don't move, recolour, enlarge or duplicate the sibling, or put it in front.
- Don't scale the large mark below 64 px: use the master drawn for that size.
- Don't put the logo on orange, Steel, photos or busy backgrounds.
- Don't crop the mark. The one crop allowed is the circular avatar crop of the square on-ground PNGs.
- Don't rearrange the lockups: the mark sits left of the word or above it, at a fixed gap and size.
- Don't animate the logo.
- Don't pair it with envelopes or delivery imagery: the stamp stands for a price per request, so keep a µ price or an inference context nearby.
- Don't lock the logo up with another organisation's mark.
- Don't present the stamp as a collectible, an NFT, a coin or a token. Inferit has no token.
tokens/tokens.json holds the palette, the light and dark themes, contrast ratios, the type scale, spacing, radii and the price format. tokens/brand.css has the same as CSS custom properties: the raw palette (--carbon … --orange), semantic roles (--ground, --ink, --ink-2, --muted, --line, --signal, --focus), type (--font-sans, --font-mono, --text-*), space (--p = 8 px, --space-N = N × P) and radii.
Light is the default theme and dark follows the OS; data-theme on <html> forces one.
