My 1.7.10 story began at 17. That was the year Thaumcraft and Botania showed me a world I didn't know games could build. Researching aspects, designing Botania mana systems — it never felt like just playing a game. It felt like living inside something made of code and imagination. Since then, I've decided that no matter how many versions Minecraft releases, I'll stay on 1.7.10.

I don't have a computer science background. I graduated from a vocational high school, and my English isn't perfect. What got me here is my attachment to 1.7.10, and the enormous help I've received from DeepSeek AI throughout development. I know I'm standing on the shoulders of giants, and I treat every branch I maintain with that awareness.

My 1.7.10 world would not be what it is without Azanor (creator of Thaumcraft) and Vazkii (creator of Botania).

Azanor built a genuinely deep magic system, and Vazkii demonstrated with Botania that nature itself could become a complete technical language. Their work fundamentally shaped how I see Minecraft mods. I'm also grateful to the GTNH team for making their RFG build template available. I will not migrate to higher versions. 1.7.10 is where I stay.

For branches I maintain (Forks of others' work): Do not take my fixed branch and report issues to the original author. They don't know what I changed, and they cannot be held responsible for my modifications. Likewise, do not bring issues from the original author's version to me. Branch fixing means "local maintenance on top of a giant's work." Not disturbing the original author, and not overstepping, is the most basic form of respect.
