Windows 12 Concept

This is a fan-made project where I & other people theorize and bring stuff into this Concept to see what Microsoft could add to their future Windows product if it comes out. I wouldn't check the Contributing tab on this because this thing just puts 66% of it into mainly 1 thing, so yeah....

About me:

I'm a 2011 Gen Z / Gen Alpha. I have ADHD, Autism, anxiety & depression. I'm very good at punctuation, as you can tell during this constitutional-looking thing. I'm not mainly a person who writes professionally without putting stuff like this in here to not make you bored, because I get it; it's boring reading through stuff like this, so I put a little twist to not make it boring.

Section 1:

This is a remake of the stuff in the contributor tab that another contributor made without me knowing it at all 😭 This isn't a regard to it at all, but just a remake of it.

Ground Rules 2.0:

Unlike the other one, you can use certain Icons from certain sites for Windows Icons; Like: "https://icons8.com/icons/all--os-windows" for the main icons (like app logos) & "https://phosphoricons.com/" for the other icons.

I'm not saying that you can't make your own icons one day and replace all of the icons, BUT you gotta let us know to see if WE or I accept it. To do that, you can either show it in the "https://github.com/Fppps/Win12/discussions/categories/ideas" or as a Contributor, in another place which I won't name for reasons.

Update frequency:

Unlike the old version of this saying "Updates are deployed frequently, often every few hours.", I honestly upload builds whenever I have time & versions whenever the last build is released; But I mainly upload stuff moderately quickly or a little quickly; So it doesn't take like 2 months to make a build or version; it is honestly 1 Month - 2 weeks per version but 1 week - 2 days per build.

Contributing:

To contribute, go to: "https://github.com/Fppps/Win12/discussions/categories/contribution-requests" to make a request. It would really help to make this less AI-heavy & more human driven :)

Main Rules:

  • You may give it a professional look in your message so when other people look at it, they might have a chance to make a request.
  • Make sure every word has correct spelling & punctuation.

Introduction Rules:

  • You must have an introduction of who you are.
  • You can include your real name if you feel comfortable doing so.
  • Give at least a 1-paragraph description of your job for the website, ~20 words per sentence.
  • You may give your gender (Any is accepted) to us if you feel comfortable doing so.

Section 2:

This section is for Notices; idk what else to add to this.

Notice:

WebWindows 12 is an independent, fan-made concept and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Microsoft. Although its UX and UI may resemble Windows, it is not intended to impersonate Microsoft or represent an official Microsoft product.

WebWindows notice for WebWindows users:

For any WebWindows user to create any video that includes any WebWindows content, you have my permission to do so, BUT you need to mention my logo & my channel somewhere: thumbnail, description, video, collaboration, or a comment; or I'll have to remind you to redo the video for credit reasons.

Do NOT try to be a bad actor, like impersonating me, keeping on not crediting me, or trying to say that it is your work, or I will report the video.

Section 3:

This section is for versioning, build & KD systems.

Version system:

Our versioning system has 2 main components: Version number & Month when it will be released. With the addition of an "H" in there to separate them to make it cleaner.

Example: 8H08; Where "8" is the version & "08" is the month.

Any version can share the same month; no rules require a different month for each version.

For anyone who adds ideas into the app, the version numbering doesn't use the users to tell who made the version or who didn't make it anymore.

Build system:

Our Build system has 3 main components: Year, version, & Build number. The build number goes from 000-999; it doesn't reset to 001; it goes to 01000. The Year & version go like this: 26 (year) 0 (version). The Full system is 260000, where 26 (Year), 0 (version), & 000 (Build number). The build we are currently on is: 268095.

For any people who adds ideas into the app, you may add a dot on the build then put a sub-build of like ".1" and higher, but above 10, do not change the build number Like this: 268095.10, to 268095.11. It would help a lot.

KD system:

The KD system is not a new thing added at all; it was added in 7H07 (or KD107). The KD system is another version of the version system where it just counts up like this: KD108, KD109, & KD210; it resets every update series, & that is just the numbers you see. "1" is the first update series, and "2" is the second one, and it goes on forever. It keeps it from going above 9, and those numbers are the versions of the app.

For any people who adds ideas into the app, the KD numbering doesn't use the users to tell who or who didn't make the version.

Section 4:

This is mainly for newcomers, kinda.

Promotion:

Welcome to the darkest depths of these sections Well, if you are new & looking at this from GitHub for the first time, then come to my channel:

"https://www.youtube.com/@Windows12-Website", where you get videos, information, and some older versions that you might see on the builds page, but those didn't use the build system at all.
