Cambios

Servidor MCP (docs-mcp/)

    • reintentos con backoff y jitter ante 429, 5xx y errores de red;
    • cancelación de las descargas al primer fallo;
    • reemplazo atómico de data/, y el script se niega a borrar un directorio que no sea de datos.
  • prepack regenera dist/ y data/ antes de empaquetar.

Plugin

  • node scripts/check-skills.mts: 184 enlaces y ningún hallazgo.
  • claude plugin validate . --strict: pasa.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Added a read-only, offline-capable FiscalAPI documentation server with tools to browse API operations, view operation details, and search documentation.
    • Added setup guides for using the server with supported coding assistants.
  • Updates

    • Updated FiscalAPI plugin descriptions and keywords to cover app integrations, CFDI 4.0, and invoices.
    • Clarified integration and invoicing guidance, including how to handle validation errors, PAC rejections, and uncertain results after timeouts or server errors.
    • Expanded installation instructions and added repository contribution guidance.

📝 Walkthrough

This pull request replaces the existing MCP package with a TypeScript package under docs-mcp, adds local OpenAPI and documentation indexing, and provides three MCP tools. It also updates plugin metadata, repository validation, contribution guidance, installation instructions, and FiscalAPI integration skills.

Changes: Documentation MCP package

Layer / File(s) Summary
OpenAPI and documentation data generation
docs-mcp/scripts/*, docs-mcp/test/build-data.test.ts, docs-mcp/test/http.test.ts, docs-mcp/test/run-build-data.ts, mcp/scripts/*, mcp/test/build-data.test.ts
The new scripts parse OpenAPI and documentation sources, generate operation contracts and a search index, and retry selected HTTP failures. Tests cover generation, parsing, and retries. The corresponding legacy scripts and build tests are removed.
Local operation and documentation lookup
docs-mcp/src/api-operations.ts, docs-mcp/src/data-files.ts, docs-mcp/src/docs-index*.ts, docs-mcp/src/excerpt.ts, docs-mcp/src/operation-suggestions.ts, docs-mcp/test/*, mcp/src/catalog.ts, mcp/src/docs.ts, mcp/test/*
The runtime loads generated operation data and a documentation index. It supports tag filtering, operation suggestions, and search excerpts. Test setup builds fixture data and tests local lookup and search. Related legacy modules and tests are removed.
MCP server and tools
docs-mcp/src/index.ts, docs-mcp/src/server.ts, docs-mcp/src/tools/*, docs-mcp/test/tools.test.ts, docs-mcp/test/search-docs-tool.test.ts, docs-mcp/test/offline.test.ts, mcp/src/index.ts, mcp/src/server.ts, mcp/test/tools.test.ts, mcp/test/docs-tool.test.ts, mcp/test/offline.test.ts
The stdio server registers tools to list operations, retrieve operation contracts, and search documentation. Tests cover tool metadata, input validation, and results. The earlier server and tool tests are removed.
Package, documentation, and CI integration
docs-mcp/package.json, docs-mcp/README.md, docs-mcp/tsconfig*.json, docs-mcp/.gitignore, .github/workflows/check.yml, mcp/README.md, mcp/tsconfig.json, mcp/.gitignore
Package scripts and TypeScript configurations support typechecking, building, testing, data generation, and packaging. The README documents client setup and tools. CI runs the package checks, and the former package documentation and configuration files are removed.

Plugin and integration guidance

Layer / File(s) Summary
Plugin metadata, repository guidance, and validation
.claude-plugin/*, .cursor-plugin/plugin.json, README.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, .github/workflows/check.yml, scripts/check-skills.*, docs/ai-integracion/*
Plugin manifests and installation instructions are updated. The workflow adds pushes to main and runs the TypeScript skill checker. Contribution guidance is added, and the prior integration planning documents are removed.
Integration setup and error handling
skills/fiscalapi-integracion/*, skills/fiscalapi-diagnostico/SKILL.md, commands/primer-timbre.md, commands/revisar-integracion.md
Guidance updates credential, tenant, certificate, and SDK instructions. Stamping and integration-review commands revise their checks. Diagnostic guidance covers validation failures, PAC/SAT rejections, server errors, timeouts, and conflict responses.
Invoice, complement, and lifecycle skills
skills/fiscalapi-carta-porte/SKILL.md, skills/fiscalapi-comercio-exterior/SKILL.md, skills/fiscalapi-ingreso-egreso/SKILL.md, skills/fiscalapi-nomina/SKILL.md, skills/fiscalapi-pagos/SKILL.md, skills/fiscalapi-ciclo-de-vida/SKILL.md
Invoice skills revise CFDI and complement instructions, including validation details and required fields. The lifecycle skill updates cancellation and webhook guidance. Several skills add SAT status checks and XML/PDF download instructions.
Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to b5a6e

Users following the README cannot start the server until the npm package is published, so publish it before or alongside the merge. The remaining items are small fixes: raise or document the Node 22.18 minimum, retry body-read failures during data generation, distinguish coded PAC/SAT rejections from uncertain 5xx results in the skill text, and disable checkout credential persistence in CI.

Disable checkout credential persistence in the package job.

On pull requests, npm ci and the package scripts run code from the checked-out revision. actions/checkout@v5.1.0 retains its token in Git configuration until job cleanup, so that code can read a token it does not need. Set persist-credentials: false on this checkout. (github.com)

Node.js 22.18.0 (LTS)

## 2025-07-31, Version 22.18.0 'Jod' (LTS), @aduh95

### Notable Changes

#### Type stripping is enabled by default

Node.js will be able to execute TypeScript files without additional configuration:

    `$ echo 'const foo: string = "World"; console.log(`Hello ${foo}!`);' > file.ts
    $ node file.ts
    Hello World!`

There are some limitations in the supported syntax documented at https://nodejs.org/api/typescript.html#type-stripping.

This feature is experimental and is subject to change. Disable it by passing `--no-experimental-strip-types` CLI flag.

Contributed by Marco Ippolito in #56350.

### Enabling#

There are two ways to enable runtime TypeScript support in Node.js:

  1. For full support of all of TypeScript's syntax and features, including using any version of TypeScript, use a third-party package.

  2. For lightweight support, you can use the built-in support for type stripping.

### Full TypeScript support#

To use TypeScript with full support for all TypeScript features, including `tsconfig.json`, you can use a third-party package. These instructions use `tsx` as an example but there are many other similar libraries available.

  1. Install the package as a development dependency using whatever package manager you're using for your project. For example, with `npm`:

    `npm install --save-dev tsx
    `

    bash[Button: copy]

  2. Then you can run your TypeScript code via:

    `npx tsx your-file.ts
    `

    bash[Button: copy]

Or alternatively, you can run with `node` via:

    `node --import=tsx your-file.ts
    `

    bash[Button: copy]

v25.2.0, v24.12.0 | Type stripping is now stable.

By default Node.js will execute TypeScript files that contains only erasable TypeScript syntax. Node.js will replace TypeScript syntax with whitespace, and no type checking is performed. To disable this feature, use the flag `--no-strip-types`.

The built-in TypeScript parser requires WebAssembly. If WebAssembly is unavailable, parsing throws `ERR_WEBASSEMBLY_NOT_SUPPORTED`. Node.js does not provide a non-WebAssembly parser as a fallback.

v22.18.0 | Type stripping no longer emits an experimental warning.
v22.18.0 | Type stripping is enabled by default.
v22.7.0  | Added `--experimental-transform-types` flag.

Stability: 1.2 - Release candidate

</excerpt>

#### `--input-type=type`#

History
Version  | Changes
--- | ---
v22.18.0  | Add support for `-typescript` values.
v22.7.0, v20.19.0 | ESM syntax detection is enabled by default.
v12.0.0  | Added in: v12.0.0

This configures Node.js to interpret `--eval` or `STDIN` input as CommonJS or as an ES module. Valid values are `"commonjs"`, `"module"`, `"module-typescript"` and `"commonjs-typescript"`. The `"-typescript"` values are not available with the flag `--no-experimental-strip-types`. The default is no value, or `"commonjs"` if `--no-experimental-detect-module` is passed.

If `--input-type` is not provided, Node.js will try to detect the syntax with the following steps:

  1. Run the input as CommonJS.
  2. If step 1 fails, run the input as an ES module.
  3. If step 2 fails with a SyntaxError, strip the types.
  4. If step 3 fails with an error code `ERR_UNSUPPORTED_TYPESCRIPT_SYNTAX` or `ERR_INVALID_TYPESCRIPT_SYNTAX`, throw the error from step 2, including the TypeScript error in the message, else run as CommonJS.

(Node.js TypeScript documentation)

Update the Node.js compatibility requirement for the build:data script in
package.json and docs-mcp/README.md to require version 22.18 or later, keeping
the documented requirement consistent; alternatively, configure build:data to
use a loader compatible with the currently declared minimum.

Update the README instructions for running the server via stdio: either ensure
the documented npx command is usable with a package published to npm, or, if
publication is pending, document a working local installation and mark the npx
command as pending.

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Retry body-read failures, not only connection and status failures.

attempt.response.text() runs outside the try/catch in request. A connection reset or the 60 s AbortSignal.timeout during body streaming therefore bypasses isRetryable and the backoff loop. The raw error then surfaces as an unhandled failureMessage stack trace. Only the initial fetch is retried. A transient mid-body failure can abort build:data and prepack, even though the PR adds retries to prevent this.

Read the body of a 200 response inside request so the same networkError path handles it.

♻️ Sketch of the fix
-type Attempt = { readonly kind: 'response'; readonly response: Response } | { readonly kind: 'networkError'; readonly error: unknown };
+type Attempt =
+  | { readonly kind: 'ok'; readonly text: string }
+  | { readonly kind: 'response'; readonly response: Response }
+  | { readonly kind: 'networkError'; readonly error: unknown };
...
-    if (attempt.kind === 'response' && attempt.response.status === 200) return attempt.response.text();
+    if (attempt.kind === 'ok') return attempt.text;
...
     const response = await fetch(url, { signal: signal === undefined ? timeout : AbortSignal.any([signal, timeout]) });
-    return { kind: 'response', response };
+    if (response.status === 200) return { kind: 'ok', text: await response.text() };
+    return { kind: 'response', response };

isRetryable, failure, and backoffMs must also narrow the 'ok' kind.

Review comment at @docs-mcp/scripts/http.ts at line 22:
Update request so it reads the body of a 200 response inside the retryable
try/catch, routing body-read failures through the existing network-error and
backoff path; adjust attempt handling to return the successfully read text while
preserving existing handling for non-200 responses.

Update the “Un 5xx o un timeout al timbrar no se reintenta” guidance and its
counterpart in primer-timbre to distinguish coded 5xx responses from uncertain
outcomes. Treat a 5xx whose message contains a code followed by “ - ” as a PAC
or SAT rejection: correct the data and issue again; limit the no-retry and
uncertainty guidance to uncoded 5xx responses and timeouts.
