Welcome to the Citeck ecos-apps repository! This repository contains a collection of additional applications and modules for the Citeck platform. Citeck is a powerful and comprehensive enterprise content and operations system designed to streamline and automate business processes within organizations.
If you are new to Citeck platform and would like to load the software locally, we recommend you download the Dockerized version from Demo repository.
To run this application the following applications from Citeck deployment are needed:
- zookeeper
- rabbitmq
- ecos-model
- ecos-registry
To start your application in the dev profile, simply run:
./mvnw spring-boot:run
If your IDE supports starting Spring Boot applications directly, then you can easily run the class 'ru.citeck.ecos.apps.EcosAppsApp' without additional setup.
With Citeck Launcher, stop eapps in the launcher before starting the local
application with both dev,dev_local profiles:
mvn spring-boot:run -Dspring-boot.run.profiles=dev,dev_localThe application loads its configuration from the launcher's Config Server at
http://localhost:8761/config/ and registers itself automatically. Its local
port is 8089; the admin UI remains available at
http://localhost/gateway/eapps/admin/wallboard. The dev_local profile makes
service addresses accessible from the host. Stop the local process before
starting the container again.
The published parent is ecos-webapp-spring-hibernate-parent:3.34.9, containing
the switch from jackson-datatype-hibernate5 to jackson-datatype-hibernate6.
Hibernate 6 uses Jakarta Persistence; the old Jackson module fails to render
sba-settings.js because it references javax.persistence.Transient. Maven
fetches the released parent from Nexus; no local installation of commons is needed.
Spring Boot Admin 3.5.9 fixes the variables.css template for Thymeleaf 3.1.4
and newer. See the upstream release notes.
Hotfix verification on 2026-10-09: the full mvn -DCI=true verify for commons
3.34.9 passed, including the Jackson regression test. A clean mvn clean verify
for eapps 2.28.1 with the published parent 3.34.9 reported 99 tests, no failures,
errors or skips, and BUILD SUCCESS. Gateway checks returned
HTTP 200 for wallboard, sba-settings.js, variables.css, the instances API
(with Accept: application/json), and the main JS/CSS assets. The local eapps
instance reported UP. Wallboard was also opened through Playwright with the
installed Chromium: the screenshot was inspected, with no JavaScript errors
or HTTP 4xx/5xx responses. All applications reported UP except edi-sim
(OFFLINE).
To build the application for production, run:
./mvnw -Pprod clean package jib:dockerBuild -Djib.docker.image.tag=custom
To ensure everything worked, stop original ecos-apps container and start ecos-apps:custom instead of it.
To launch your application's tests, run:
./mvnw clean test
Sonar is used to analyse code quality. You can start a local Sonar server (accessible on http://localhost:9001) with:
docker compose -f docker/sonar.yml up -d
Then, run a Sonar analysis:
./mvnw -Pprod clean test sonar:sonar
- Documentation provides more in-depth information.
