• pin canonical BitHighlander/device-protocol master at 753f286
• point the submodule URL at the canonical fork
• regenerate Ethereum and message-type Python bindings for definition streaming IDs 1709-1712
• raise the protobuf runtime floor to 3.20 for the regenerated bindings
• test mapping, IDs, lookup contexts, and byte-exact 1 KiB chunks
