Persist captured votes before executor handoff
Fresh evidence beyond the earlier startup-listener finding is that a captured vote is not added to the overflow until this submitted callback actually runs. If voteTimer.submit succeeds during startup but plugin disable follows while the worker is blocked, VotingPluginMain.onUnLoad eventually calls shutdownNow(), discarding the callback while no overflow entry exists, so the accepted Votifier vote is permanently lost. Transfer ownership to the bounded overflow before this cancellable handoff, or otherwise reconcile accepted-but-cancelled tasks.

Retain capture ownership until vote processing completes
Fresh evidence after the prior executor-handoff fix is that, when shutdown starts after this callback removes the receipt but before processVote completes, VotiferEvent.stop() can no longer transfer it to the overflow queue; onUnLoad() then waits only one second before shutdownNow(), so a paused or blocked callback can be interrupted or race teardown with no durable copy remaining. Keep the captured entry until normal processing has completed, or transfer it before allowing executor cancellation, so graceful shutdown cannot lose an accepted vote.

Route capture saturation into the overflow queue
When the vote executor already owns its 256 permitted tasks, the capture map also contains 256 entries, so this pre-check returns before submit() can reject and invoke transferLocked. Consequently, the normal saturation path can never use the separate 256-entry durable overflow queue—even when it is empty—and the next valid Votifier receipt is discarded after only a log message. Transfer this receipt directly to the overflow when capture capacity is reached instead of returning here.

Retry failed overflow transfers before retirement
When an overflow transfer is rejected—for example, startup recovers a full 256-entry queue—this callback retains the capture but never clears vote.transferring. After the recovered queue drains, there is therefore no way to retry the transfer, and stop() also skips it because transferLocked immediately returns for a transferring vote; if the original callback was unstarted or is cancelled during shutdown, the retained in-memory receipt disappears with the plugin. Clear the transfer-in-progress state and arrange another bounded transfer attempt while ownership remains captured.

Retain overflow entries when replay processing fails
When a captured receipt has been transferred to the durable overflow after startup saturation or shutdown, processor is VotiferEvent::processVote; that wrapper discards the false returned by processCapturedVote after a downstream exception. This finally therefore acknowledges and removes the persisted entry even though normal vote effects were not confirmed, so the recovery attempt permanently loses the accepted vote. Propagate the processing outcome and acknowledge only successful completion.

Persist retained captures before closing the overflow
When the durable overflow already contains 256 recovered entries, or has less free capacity than the capture registry needs, this stop() only starts asynchronous handoffs; rejected admissions remain solely in captured and schedule a retry. onUnLoad() has already disabled overflow processing and soon closes its worker, so the queue cannot drain to make room and those retries cannot transfer the remaining accepted votes before the listener is discarded. Unlike the earlier stuck-transferring issue, the fresh evidence here is the shutdown ordering that terminates the repaired retry path; shutdown must wait for confirmed handoff or include retained captures in a sufficiently bounded final durable snapshot.

Retain captures while queue ownership is pending
When a replacement queue is still waiting for the predecessor's owner lock, early Votifier receipts are provisionally held by the listener because loaded remains false. If that replacement is disabled before acquiring the lock, retirement cannot add those receipts to entries, and this branch permanently closes the worker instead of continuing the ownership/load retry; the listener is then discarded with the only copies of those accepted votes. Keep the closing worker alive until it can merge and publish the retirement batch, rather than treating an uninitialized queue as safely closed.

Retain saturated receipts until overflow initialization completes
When 256 receipts fill captured while the replacement overflow queue is still waiting for its predecessor's owner lock, the next receipt takes this branch without being inserted into captured. enqueueAfterInitialization then runs once, and enqueueStored rejects it because loaded is still false; the failure callback cannot retry because captured.get(vote.id) is null, so a receipt that would fit after the predecessor releases the queue is lost. Fresh evidence after the earlier direct-overflow fix is that this bypass receipt has no owner during a failed provisional transfer; retain it in the bounded pending-ingress lane until initialization produces a definitive capacity result.

Adds opt-in
DateVoteMilestonesinSpecialRewards.yml, with explicit timezone, inclusive start, exclusive end, site filters and rewards through the existing reward handler. The bundled example remains disabled. Named milestones useAtandEvery, while existing numeric reward sections remain compatible. Event identities and expanded thresholds preserve persisted accounting contracts across reload and restart.A qualifying accepted occurrence counts once in each matching event. Original IDs and occurrence times survive delayed and cached delivery. Legacy delivery without authoritative occurrence metadata continues normal processing but is excluded from date accounting; fake votes are excluded. An occurrence tag alone is not a totals snapshot, so queued replay preserves existing VoteParty fallback totals. Explicit zero and legacy/versioned totals retain their meanings.
/vote dateeventsopens a paginated event and milestone menu showing date windows, timezone, status, local progress, next thresholds, reward types and pending/deferred/submitted award states. Remote-owned progress and unavailable storage have distinct displays. Storage reads run on the worker; menu effects run on the player scheduler and are checked again at the actual inventory open after reload, permission loss, disconnect or manager replacement. Display text is rendered literally, and inspection/navigation never submit rewards.Standalone servers with an unset
AccountingServercount locally. Proxy networks must configure the exact accounting backend and matching event definitions. An unset proxy owner disables new date accounting while existing queued reward handles remain available. Normal vote accounting and SQL schemas remain unchanged.Persistent contracts reject incompatible window, threshold or owner changes under an existing event ID. Reservations prevent automatic repetition of ambiguous external reward submissions; this does not promise exactly-once external commands. Startup/reload keeps captured and overflow receipts until processing completion and coordinates queue/ledger file ownership across participating instances and class loaders. Failed storage remains a retry/reconciliation condition. See configuration and recovery documentation.
Native capture retirement reserves capacity with the queue before normal executor submission. Ordinary overflow stays at 256 entries; the combined final/recovered snapshot is bounded at 512 across repeated restart. Unknown initial disk capacity is provisional. One retirement batch preserves cancelled and started captures with their original IDs/timestamps. The close caller waits at most one second; failed final publication retains the existing worker and file owner for retry. A successor waits for that ownership to release, and completion during publication is checked before the final seal. Closing replacements retain a bounded retirement batch while ownership/loading is pending. Corrupt or vanished known storage requires valid repair before final publication; it cannot become an empty-state guess.
Saturated receipts remain in the bounded pending-ingress lane while a predecessor owns the queue file. Each provisional transfer stays owned until initialization supplies a definitive capacity/storage result. Closing includes admitted transfers in the bounded final snapshot, preserving their original IDs and occurrence times. The current startup/reminder lifecycle remains integrated without opening vote ingress early.
