Major changes

  • Added adaptive anchor selection to Single mode
  • Added Search mode as replacement to Single for pre/post on SIMD impls
  • Improved static anchor selection for SIMD impls
  • Moved more implementation details out of headers
  • Removed signature invariants, all possible signatures are now valid.

TODO

  • Add comprehensive benchmark suite with three goals:
    • Gauge the throughput breaking point for Single
    • Target all template instantiations of the SIMD impls
    • Compare performance across a variety of executable sizes
