Restructures /screenshots/ into a data-driven page (_data/screenshots.yml):

  • Latest: shots generated by the new scripts/screenshots.py in ActivityWatch/activitywatch (demo data on an isolated server). Hidden until populated.
  • How it has evolved: one slider per view (Activity, Timeline) stepping through versions from v0.8 (2018) to today, with captions and credits. Each release: regenerate, move the old latest into evolution.
  • From the community: the screenshot competition entries, credited as before.
  • Displays downscaled WebP copies (img/screenshots/web/, max 1600 px wide) and links the full PNGs: page weight 36 MB → 1.5 MB.

Includes the v0.14.0 shots (light + dark, 13 views) generated by ActivityWatch/activitywatch#1500, and swaps the homepage and schema.org images (v0.9.3/v0.8.0 → v0.14.0).

…on slider, and web-sized images

The page is now generated from _data/screenshots.yml: a Latest section (filled by
ActivityWatch/activitywatch scripts/screenshots.py), a 'How it has evolved' slider
per view across versions, and the community competition gallery with credits.
Displays downscaled WebP copies (36 MB -> 1.5 MB) and links the full PNGs.

RetriggerConfidence Score: 5/5

[Low risk] Updates website screenshots and metadata.

The PR appears safe to merge, with the earlier non-blocking screen-reader issue still open.

Findings

P2 Slider announces numbers, not releases

The version slider tells screen-reader users only its numeric position, such as “5.” Its aria-label names the view but does not explain which release is selected. Users must find the separate caption to learn that. Set aria-valuetext to the selected version and year when the page loads, then update it in show(i).

Note: If this suggestion doesn't match your team's coding style, reply to this and let me know. I'll remember it for next time!

Fixed in fe574a9: aria-valuetext is set to the version and year on load and updated in show(i).

…e and schema.org image

Generated with scripts/screenshots.py (ActivityWatch/activitywatch#1500): light and
dark for 13 views. Latest section shows light with a dark-mode link; Activity and
Timeline sliders gain a v0.14.0 stop. Homepage swaps the v0.9.3/v0.8.0 images.
