Two faults from the workflow's first practice run (2026-10-13), both fixed here:

  1. 32-bit Linux build stopped before compiling anything. All four x86_64 wheels (cp310–cp313) built successfully. cibuildwheel then started the 32-bit (i686) Linux container, and the Rust installer (rustup) failed to start because that container does not ship a small system library it needs, libatomic (libatomic.so.1: cannot open shared object file). Fix: the Linux setup step now installs libatomic (yum install -y libatomic) before running the rustup installer; the rustup command itself is unchanged.

  2. Intel Mac build waited forever. The matrix used macos-13, a runner image GitHub has retired, so that leg never started — and it kept the whole practice run showing as in progress for hours. Fix: the Intel Mac leg now uses GitHub's current Intel runner, macos-15-intel. All other matrix entries are untouched.

The workflow header's status note is updated to record the practice run and both faults, and CHANGELOG.md's Unreleased section records the two fixes (and no longer says a leg "is being diagnosed").

No tag, no publish, and no workflow dispatch is part of this PR.

…rs; replace retired macos-13 with macos-15-intel
