Description
AngouriMathLab is archived (2026-10-02, ahead of 2.6.0). Since #1688 nothing writes to it, and an archived repository can still be cloned and its releases downloaded, so the links below keep working until they move. What is left to move here:
- the 2.6.0 release has the Terminal's ten builds attached, which The Terminal's builds are attached to the release of the packages #1688 (merged) does: v2.6.0 has all ten;
-
LAB_ACCESS_TOKENis deleted from this repository's secrets, since nothing uses it after The Terminal's builds are attached to the release of the packages #1688; - the README's Terminal download link points to this repository's releases (Point the README's Terminal download at this repository's releases #1949);
- the website's quickstart, at the 2.6.0 release (2.6.0 on the What's new page and the quickstart, and the four releases since 2.1.0 AngouriMathSite#41, The quickstart's Terminal and CLI from the library's releases AngouriMathSite#42): its Terminal downloads point to this repository's releases, and its CLI section describes
amcli's one-shot commands, which ship inAngouriMath.Terminal2.6.0, in place of the archived AngouriMathCLI's 2022 downloads; - the README's C++ badge no longer reads Lab's latest release (Point the README's Terminal download at this repository's releases #1949). That release is the Terminal's v1.0.0.6, and Lab's only C++ release is
0.0.0-poc, from 2021; - the notebooks are one set of Jupyter notebooks here. Lab's
trybranch has an F# tutorial of 68 cells, with plotting, and a C# notebook of 9 cells, to be reconciled with the two samples inSources/Samples. This covers Pull nightly by default in Try? AngouriMathLab#6 (pull nightly by default) and Add Plotting examples to Try AngouriMathLab#7 (plotting examples); Done in Make the Lab's notebooks the sample notebooks #2110: the F# tutorial isSources/Samples/Interactive.Sample.ipynband the C# example isCSharp.Interactive.Sample.ipynb, both run in the Binder image. - the README's Binder "Try" button builds from this repository, not from Lab's
trybranch:binder/Dockerfile, with the two samples fixed to run in it (Build the Binder image from this repository, and make the samples run #2107); - AngouriGamma, the WPF demo in Lab's
trybranch, becomes a web app in v3.1 (AngouriGamma becomes a web app beside the website #1692); its source stays readable in the archive; -
articles.mdandwe-thank.md, on Lab'smainbranch, move to the website or to this repository: they areDocs/Articles.mdandDocs/Acknowledgements.md(Move the articles and the acknowledgements from the archived AngouriMathLab #2104); - Lab's four issues are closed with where each now lives: Python wrapper (AngouriMath.Py) AngouriMathLab#1 in The C++ and Python wrappers follow the operation catalogue #1690, Step-by-step solver (reversible trees) AngouriMathLab#2 in Goal: Math OS — a ten-year vision for AngouriMath as an open mathematical reasoning platform #746's v5.0 (the step recorder, Step recorder with reversible trees #273), and updatin branch #6 and Momo branch #7 in the notebook item above.
The website's C++ quickstart fetches Lab's cpp-release branch, which downloads the 0.0.0-poc binaries. That works from the archive. Replacing it is part of #1690.
Part of #1649.

C++ and Python should really follow the same schema as C# methods, terminal and MCP (#1684). Detailed design to be scheduled on v3.1 (related - #368).
Jupyter notebooks are to be reconciled with .NET Interactive notebooks in this repo. .NET Interactive notebooks are deprecated already so I suppose everything should be in Jupyter.

Filed as #1690 in 3.1, beside #368 and #1684. I've also added to the checklist above everything Lab holds that isn't here yet: the notebooks, the Binder setup, AngouriGamma, and two documents.
On the notebooks: the
.net-csharpand.net-fsharpkernels that both sets run on are .NET Interactive's own. So moving everything to Jupyter still leaves the kernel open: those kernels while they work, or Python through the wrapper in #1690. Which would you prefer?🤖 Generated with Claude Code

According to dotnet/interactive#4163, the replacements for .NET Interactive Notebooks are C# file-based apps and Jupyter notebooks for non-C# languages.
Presumably we would have two versions of notebook-style demos, one in single file C#, another as Jupyter (with the proposed Python wrapper).
Following this guidance properly, we would drop the C# and F# kernels altogether.

Check that we considered everything for AngouriMathMCP, AngouriMathCLI, AngouriMathLab and AngouriMathBot such that all are ready for archival.
[-]Archive AngouriMathLab once 2.6.0 carries the Terminal's builds[/-][+]Move what is left in AngouriMathLab here[/+]Rafael-SOWNet commentedon Oct 2, 2026
I checked each of the four for anything that still points at it or depends on it:
AGENTS.mdstill named it in the release checklist; The release checklist names the MCP server here, not its archived repository #1696 points that atSources/MCPinstead.amcli, with its 2022 downloads. The one-shot commands that replace it ship inAngouriMath.Terminal2.6.0, so that section changes at the 2.6.0 release, on the checklist above. Until then its old downloads work from the archive.articles.mdandwe-thank.md, and theLAB_ACCESS_TOKENsecret. The C++ quickstart and the Binder button work from the archive in the meantime.🤖 Generated with Claude Code

The 2.6.0 items are done: the release carries the Terminal's ten builds, the README downloads from it (#1949), and the website's quickstart installs the Terminal from it and describes
amcli's one-shot commands (ASC-Community/AngouriMathSite#41, ASC-Community/AngouriMathSite#42). Moved to 2.7.0 with what is left: the notebooks, the Binder button,articles.mdandwe-thank.md, and deletingLAB_ACCESS_TOKEN, which only Rafael does.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
