Hit areas sit in a pseudo-element, 8px out, so none reaches its neighbour. On touch the name takes the whole row.
A term stays whole when it fits and wraps when it cannot, as at a large text setting. --surface goes.

Verbs and colophon links are underlined at rest, with hit areas that leave the ring on the word; on touch the whole row reaches the work, and a mouse keeps the tagline selectable. Note headings go to ink, code takes a named mono with no chip and wraps rather than clips at a large text setting, the bridge steps to 20px, the gutter is 24px in one token, and
all worktakes its page's alignment.--surfacegoes, andtext-underline-offsetdrops from seven copies to one.check:layoutgains the row's targets on mouse and touch. One commit per item, each revertible alone.
